    MOROCCO ITINERARY: 9 Days Morocco Desert Tour From Marrakech

    Day 1Airport Marrakech:

    At your arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport to transfer you to the Hotel where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend your first night.

    Day 2Marrakech - Casablanca:

    After breakfast, we’ll make our way to Casablanca, the economic Capital of Morocco, which is the oldest and the biggest city in Morocco. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Palace of Mohammed V, the United Nations Square and the famous league of Arab states that is known for its unique breeds of palm trees. After wandering in the old streets, you’ll go to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 3 Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes - Fez:

    On the third day, we’ll head to the Moroccan Capital, Rabat, where the king resides. You’ll explore the charm of this coastal city and enjoy a tasty Moroccan lunch there. Then, we’ll proceed to Meknes. An interesting piece of trivia is that the 16th century ruler “Moulay Ismail”, who took this city to be his capital during his time. He built his gorgeous palace decorated with the most intricate colorful stucco work, huge beautifully detailed bronze doors and superb mosaics. After that, you’ll visit the Volubilis, the western most outpost of the ancient Roman Empire, to make our way later to fez for having Dinner and spending the night in Hotel.

    Day 4 Fez Guided City Tour:

    This day trip visits some of the main attractions of fez, the home of the first university in Morocco. There is no imperial city Tour without seeing its ancient medina that offers a plethora of things to do and see. Inside it, you’ll adore the bustling streets that are full of noisy hawkers who sell everything from colorful vegetables, delicious Middle Eastern pastries flavored with cinnamon and honey and the masterful artisans that beat sheets of metal to masterpieces.

    Day 5Fez - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga (Sahara Desert):

    After having breakfast in Fez, our journey will continue to Merzouga, The Dunes of Erg Chebbi, passing through the outstanding Ziz valley and Errachidia and stopping in Midelt for a Lunch break. Upon our arrival, you’ll enjoy the pool for a bit in hotel then ride camels for 2 hours in Erg Chebbi during sunset to reach our nomadic camp. In the middle of SAHARA desert, you’ll spend a night full of entertainment with locals with a good food in dinner around the campfire before retiring into your private tents.

    Day 6Merzouga Dunes - Toudra Gorges - Tinghir - Dades Gorges:

    In Merzouga Dunes, you’ll wake up early to see the picturesque Sahara sunrise, ride your camel back to the hotel for enjoying a quick shower and have your breakfast. Afterwards, we’ll continue to Dades gorge where the rock climbing is the major activity there. After hiking along the breathtaking gorge, you‘ll enjoy dinner and have a good night’s rest in a 4stars hotel.

    Day 7 Dades Gorges - Valley Of Roses - Skoura Palm - Ouarzazate:

    Departure to Ouarzazate through the wonderful valley of roses where the festival is held each year. You’ll have lunch then proceed to “Africa’s Hollywood” Studios in Ouarzazate where many famous movies like kingdom of heaven and Gladiator were filmed. Later on, you’ll visit Taourirt Kasbah which is one of the oldest and the most magnificent Kasbah in all of Morocco. Dinner and overnight sleep in hotel.

    Day 8Ouarzazate - Marrakech:

    After enjoying breakfast and visiting the famous cinema studios in Ouarzazate, we’ll make our way to the UNESCO world heritage site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou that has been another favored site for Hollywood directors and where Alexander and Son of God has been filmed. We will have lunch by the Kasbah and then head into the High Atlas Mountains where you’ll have a warm cup of mint tea with the locals before reaching Marrakech at 5 pm. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

    DAY 9Marrakech Airport:

    This Day marks the end of your tour of Morocco Imperial Cities from Marrakech. Our driver will transport you to the airport hoping that we gave you happy memories and looking forward to see you again.
