8 days Morocco Desert Tour From Marrakech

The 8-day Morocco desert journey begins with an early pick-up from the landing strip or your Marrakech hotel, then travels via the spectacular High Atlas mountains and across the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, with breaks for wide views of the gorgeous environment, before arriving at Telouat’s Kasbah.

Then, we travel to the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has also appeared in various of films, such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and others. As well as television programs like Game of Thrones. After that, we continue on to Ouarzazate, well known as “the desert gate.” Dinner and an overnight hotel stay are included.

We drive to explore Ouarzazate after breakfast. We begin at Atlas Studios, where many excellent films have been filmed, and then proceed to the Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous and spectacular Ksars. Then, we head east to Skoura to view Amridil Kasbah, surrounded by palm trees. Then continue to Kalaa Magouna, known for its Rose Valley. On every May, a Rose Festival is held, during which inhabitants sell rose-related things such as perfumes, rose water, and cosmetics. Then we proceed to Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades. We go after breakfast to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River carved a massive canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-sided valley. Feel free to explore the gorges and soak in the scenery. Then proceed through the palm agricultural land of Touroug and Tinjdad. There will be time for lunch along the way.
We arrive in the afternoon in Merzouga, Sahara desert. You will be transferred on camels to travel the arid desert. You will be brought to the top of a high dune to witness the breathtaking sunset. Then make your way to the desert luxury camp. Where you will dance around a campfire beneath a starry sky while listening to Berber drum music. Dinner and rest in the camp.

On the 4 day of your tour program from Marrakech to the Desert, you will have to wake up early in the morning to see the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. Following that, you return to Merzouga on camels, where the driver awaits. The Merzouga area will be visited on the 4 days of your Morocco desert tour. Sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossil sites, and a gorgeous oasis are among the other outstanding characteristics of the area. Which are perfect for a variety of outdoor sports.

On day 5 of your program, you will be leaving the Sahara to Rissani, an old town in the area known for trading, and its large souk. after a walk in Rissani, we will drive to Erfoud to visit one of the workshop marble.

We then go along the Ziz River and stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. In Midelt, we had lunch. Then we travel to Ifrane, a town famed for its cold weather, snow, and alpine-style residences. It is referred to be Morocco’s Switzerland. Finally, we drop you off at your Fes hotel.

The day 6 of your 8-day tour from Marrakech, the driver will meet you to visit the main places in Fes. The city is one of the cultural, royal, and religious cities of Morocco.

You will have lunch in the riad or hotel. After that, we drive 30 km from Meknes to view the old Roman city walls of Volubilis, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since it is considered a historic arches and archways.
We go north through Ouazzane to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains after visiting the ruins. The city is referred to as the Blue City. In addition to its blue-painted houses and streets. overnight in a hotel.

You may have some free time after breakfast to walk around the magnificent passageways of the blue city depending on your departure schedule before we go across the Rif mountains to Tangier and transfer you to the airport. The 8-day tour to Morocco has come to an end.
