    MOROCCO ITINERARY: 8 DAYS MOROCCO DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH

    Day 1Marrakech – High Atlas mountains – Telouat Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate

    The 8-day Morocco desert journey begins with an early pick-up from the landing strip or your Marrakech hotel, then travels via the spectacular High Atlas mountains and across the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, with breaks for wide views of the gorgeous environment, before arriving at Telouat’s Kasbah.

    Then, we travel to the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has also appeared in various of films, such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and others. As well as television programs like Game of Thrones. After that, we continue on to Ouarzazate, well known as “the desert gate.” Dinner and an overnight hotel stay are included.

    Day 2Ouarzazate – palm groves of Skoura – Amridil Kasbah – Rose Valley -Dades Valley

    We drive to explore Ouarzazate after breakfast. We begin at Atlas Studios, where many excellent films have been filmed, and then proceed to the Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous and spectacular Ksars. Then, we head east to Skoura to view Amridil Kasbah, surrounded by palm trees. Then continue to Kalaa Magouna, known for its Rose Valley.     Day 3Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges -Erfoud -Merzouga Sahara – overnight in a luxury camp

    We go after breakfast to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River carved a massive canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-sided valley. Feel free to explore the gorges and soak in the scenery. Then proceed through the palm agricultural land of Touroug and Tinjdad. There will be time for lunch along the way.
    We arrive in the afternoon in Merzouga, Sahara desert. You will be transferred on camels to travel the arid desert. You will be brought to the top of a high dune to witness the breathtaking sunset. Then make your way to the desert luxury camp. Where you will dance around a campfire beneath a starry sky while listening to Berber drum music. Dinner and rest in the camp.

    Day 4Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

    On the 4 day of your tour program from Marrakech to the Desert, you will have to wake up early in the morning to see the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. Following that, you return to Merzouga on camels, where the driver awaits. The Merzouga area will be visited on the 4 days of your Morocco desert tour.
