    MOROCCO ITINERARY: 4 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM FES

    Day 1Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara:

    The 4-day Fes to Marrakech desert journey begins with an early pick-up from the airport or your accommodations. Then we travel south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, which is famed for its low temperatures, snow, and alpine-style residences – little surprise it is known as Morocco’s Switzerland. Then we proceed to the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbary Macaques. You are welcome to feed them while exploring the forest. Later, we’ll make our way to Midelt for lunch. Then we drive via the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz River to the Sahara desert.
    We arrive at Merzouga in the afternoon. Then, we switch to camels to cross the sandy desert. You will be brought to the top of a high dune to view the wonderful sunset. Then travel to the desert luxury camp, where you will dance around a bonfire under a large open sky of stars while listening to Berber drum music. Dinner and rest in the camp.

    Day 2 Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove:

    Wake up early in the morning is a must-do, to contemplate the beautiful sunrise, in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast. Then you return on camels to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. We dedicate the day to explore the region of Merzouga. The area has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes, wild lake, mines, fossils areas to fabulous oases. Which are ideal places for so many outdoor activities.

    Firstly, we start our journey in Merzouga, by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit, in their handmade woven tent. Learn how they live while drinking Berber tea. Our next destination is the Khamlia village, where you will enjoy the Gnaoua music and dancing performances. Its inhabitants are originating from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. After that, we take a stroll in a palm trees grove. Then drive a few kilometers to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called Flamingos Lake. Dinner and overnight In a hotel.

    Day 3Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley:
