We arrive at Merzouga, the Sahara desert, in the afternoon. You will traverse the sandy desert on camels instead. We’ll pause so you can stand on a tall dune and take in the breathtaking sunset. Proceed to the opulent desert tent where you can dance around the bonfire beneath a huge starry sky while listening to the melody of Berber drums. Dinner and spend the night in the camp.

Day 2Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

To enjoy the magnificent day break in the middle of the desert, you have to wake up in the early morning. You have breakfast at this time. After that, you return to Merzouga on camelback, where your driver is waiting for you. We allocated the day to explore the Merzouga area. Numerous incredible areas, including dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil sites, and a stunning oasis, are nearby and make for ideal outdoor experiences for a variety of outdoor activities.
First, we travel off-road to an old eyeliner mine near Merzouga to begin our adventure. Next, we visit the nomads in their tent created by hand. Sip a Berber tea and discover their way of life. Our next stop is the village of Khamlia, where you may take in performances of Gnaoua music and dance. Mali, Sudan, and Niger are among the sub-Saharan nations from where its people come originally. Time to spare for a meal at a restaurant. We then go through the grove of palm trees after that. After that, travel a little distance to witness Merzouga’s wild lake, also known as Flamingo Lake. Dinner and the rest of the night within a hotel.

    Day 3Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early to enjoy the magnificent daybreak in the middle of the desert. Ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting for you, after enjoying breakfast on your own. Then we leave the desert and head towards the old capital of Tafilalet, Rissani Town. Rissani is still a major trading hub in the area, with a large souk that’s especially lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. We stroll through the Rissani souk before going to one of the fossilized marble workshops in Erfoud.
Following that, we drive alongside the Ziz River and pause to take in the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. After that, we travel to Fes via Ifrane and the cedar forest. Lastly, we drop you off at your hotel or the airport. The 3-day tour from Fes comes to an end.
